German Pointer

The German Shorthaired Pointer is a popular sporting dog who also makes an affectionate companion.  Though they are easy to groom, they also need a lot of vigorous exercise to keep in tip top shape.  Mental and physical challenges will keep your pal happy and engaged.  This energetic and intelligent dog loves being with his people and works hard to please you.  He also really likes to swim.  These 55 to 70 pound dogs are easy to train and need a lot of attention and exercise.  They do not like to be bored.  Keeping them well exercised and entertained will ensure a happy and healthy life.
