Miniature Schnauzer

This friendly and smart breed is also very obedient.  This 5-9 kg loveable breed has a lifespan of 12-15 years.  This miniature is the smallest of three Schnauzer breeds.  At 30-36 cm, they were bred from larger cousins.  He is outgoing and makes a great family dog.  Miniature Schnauzers are charming with their human-like expressions and their bushy beard and eyebrows.  The hard, wiry coat comes in three color patterns:  salt and pepper, black and silver, and solid black.  They are muscular and fearless but they are not aggressive.  They are bright and friendly and can easily be trained.  They are happy to live in smaller homes but also adapt to farm life.  These sturdy little dogs are great family pets and also watchdogs.
